HONORING VETERANS – There are over 7,500 veterans living in House District 9, where getting access to services can be difficult, and often involves a trip to Eugene or Portland.

In 2017, Caddy supported a bill that doubled the budget for County Veteran Service Officers and National Service Organizations, which help connect veterans’ to services they need.

And most recently, in the 2018 legislative session, Caddy passed a bill to increase access to apprenticeships for veterans.

Caddy’s parents were both WWII veterans, and as a legislator, she has made it a priority to improve veterans’ services in Oregon.
